Dr. Kalyan C. Kankanala
Dr. Kalyan C. Kankanala, CKO and Co-founder of Brain League IP Services, has experience in IP Consulting and is an expert trainer. During his illustrious career as an IP consultant, Kalyan worked closely with biotech and software companies on strategic IP analysis, IP Collaboration, Licenses and Audits. He was instrumental in developing a strong knowledge and training base for Brain League by developing IP content, devising training programs and running online courses. He has trained more than 5000 corporate employees in biotechnology, software and telecom sectors. As a visiting faculty at National Law School of India University and Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology, Kalyan offers courses on Intellectual Property aspects of Biotechnology. He has also written and published a book on
'Genetic patent law and Strategy' which has proven to be a good guide
for those in the field and an interesting read otherwise. He has an LL.M. in Intellectual Property, Commerce and Technology from Franklin Pierce Law Center, USA and
Ph.D in Patent Law from National Law School of India University, Bangalore.

Mr. Anil Suraj
Bearing a keen academic and policy interest in the World Trade
Organization and its basket of multilateral agreements, including
TRIPs, Mr. Anil Suraj is presently a Visiting Faculty at the Indian
Institute of Management, Bangalore and is particularly associated with
the Centre for Public Policy. During his stint as a Research Fellow at
the National Judicial Academy, India, Mr. Suraj coordinated training
programmes for senior District Judges and High Court Justices on
various topics, including – Economic analysis of law and
adjudication of economic laws, with a specific focus on intellectual
property. Mr. Suraj has been involved in international research
projects and has been regularly addressing audiences of varied
stakeholders on legal and economic issues.

Nishant Kewalramani
Mr. Nishant Kewalramani holds a Masters degree in Intellectual
Property Rights, Commerce & Technology from Franklin Pierce, USA. He
is a B.Sc. LLB (Honors) graduate from National Law University,
Jodhpur. During his career he has worked on a variety of Intellectual
Property issues ranging from filings to strategic management of
Intellectual Property. He has immense experience in Intellectual
Property Portfolio Management and
therefore has dealt with IP filing in various countries
including the likes of USA, India and European Union. He is a
registered attorney with the Bar Council of Delhi. Working as an IP
Analyst at Brain League he has been a part of various corporate
training programs. He has delivered talks at IIM Bangalore on IP
issues related to filing strategies and management. He also holds
advanced certifications in Electronic Commerce and Intellectual
Property from World Intellectual Property Organization.

Kartik Puttaiah, Senior Patent Analyst at Brain League IP Services has
experience in Patent Consulting and manages projects relating to
manufacturing sector. During his career as a Senior Patent Analyst, he
has worked closely with companies in automation, software, and
telecommunication sector, apart from working with a wide array of
companies from the manufacturing sector. He has helped companies in
identifying the potential of their intellectual property and helped
them leverage their intellectual property. Additionally, he has helped
companies identify IPR related risks associated with their product in
various geographical territories. Further, he has helped R&D teams of
various companies in addressing technology related problems. He holds
